You may be asking “What is RH2?” RH2 reflects my marriage... Shortly after getting married while I was changing my name, Ryan and I realized (honestly a little belatedly) that our initials would be the same now. RH2 is a beloved way to pay tribute to my lifetime partnership with the man who means everything to me <3

Now, why blogging? When I was younger, I started writing as an escape. If I felt overwhelmed, stressed, overjoyed, there were times when my voice would fail me, so I would write to sort my thoughts and process my feelings instead. While the extent and form of my writing has changed over the years, the importance of writing for me is unwavering. My voice doesn’t fail me as often these days, but something about putting pen to paper (or fingers to a keyboard) still brings me a sense of peace.

I hope that reading this blog normalizes the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with life, inspires you to chase your dreams, and reminds you that no matter where you currently are - on a mountain top or a valley low - the seeds of your life allow you to grow where planted.
