Just A Chapter
I have a widget on my phone that reads, “This is just a chapter, not your whole story.” It’s a simple reminder that life has its up’s and down’s, but God remains constant, steadily writing a story that’s still unfolding.
When I look back on my life so far, I see so many beautiful chapters in these first 28 years. There have been moments full of joy, imbedding memories that are vivid and lasting. But there have also been seasons that were difficult in unexpected ways, shaping me through lessons I couldn’t have learned any other way and leaving wounds that took time to heal.
Both were necessary. The joy and the struggle worked together to form who I am today.
The hard seasons were truly hard, but I can wholeheartedly say that I wouldn’t be who I am, or where I am, without them. And for that, I’m grateful. Through it all, God has remained good. And I trust, without hesitation, that His hand will continue to guide my life in the chapters ahead.
